The PL-4000T is a full optical transport solution of up to 1.6T capacity in a pay-as-you-grow architecture. The device has 4 slices, with each one supporting 1 x 400G transponder or 4 x 100G muxponder configurations, and is interoperable with third party switches or routers. The PL-4000T supports DCI applications for enterprise, campus and cloud computing networks with 400G per wavelength.

Flexible Design

The PL-4000T has a flexible selection of 4x100GbE muxponder or 1x400GbE transponder to 400G uplink per slice. This flexible solution enables pay-as-you-grow architecture.

The solution provides full demarcation point between the 100GbE, OTU4 and 400GbE client service and the DWDM uplink by supporting performance monitoring of both the optical transport layer (OTN) and service interfaces.

Powerful Feature Set

The PL-4000T is a modular and cost-effective high capacity solution for rolling out 400GbE and 100GbE services, or increasing existing network capacity. The device supports up to four 400G DCO pluggable uplink optical modules, delivering up to 1.6T in a 1U chassis. The PL-4000T integrates 4:1 mux/demux, 1 or 2 EDFA modules and OSW and delivers the entire optical layer. The product supports standards-based Layer-1 encryption for data security.
