The PL-2000GM provides high transport capacity of up to 200G over a single wavelength. The solution reduces overall CAPEX and OPEX by supporting low power consumption and rack space savings.
The device enables simple and cost-effective roll-out of services and facilitates capacity increase of enterprise DCI (data center interconnect) and metro networks. The PL-2000GM supports the transport of a flexible mix of data, storage, voice and video services and rates in configurable muxponder and transponder operation modes.
Flexible Design
The flexible architecture of the PL-2000GM enables the same device to be used in multiple applications and adapt to network growth and changes. It supports and aggregates a flexible mix of Ethernet, Fibre Channel, Video, SDH/SONET and OTN client services into a 200G uplink or two 100G uplinks for building point-to-point or ring networks, respectively.
Powerful Feature Set
The PL-2000GM is a small form factor, integrated transport solution, reaching up to 200km/42dB without intermediate sites and 4,500km with inline sites. It transports 200G over point-to-point networks, and dual 100G uplinks over ring topologies, using flexible cross connect matrix.
